Remembrance Day was observed at schools throughout the district in November, including:

• At North Saanich Middle School, the Remembrance Day Ceremony was a wonderful way to honour Canadian Armed Forces members who died in the line of duty.
• At Prospect Lake Elementary, the school focus for the month of November was on Courage.  The Student Leadership / Spirit Club have been working hard to promote examples of courage.  Students have been sharing their voices about how they have been demonstrating acts of courage throughout the month.  
• Children's Development Centre (CDC) held their first Remembrance Day ceremony as a full school community in the new multi-purpose room.
