The Ministry of Education and Child Care has recently announced the Saanich School District’s South Island Distance Education School (SIDES) as a Provincial Online Learning School (POLS) beginning Sept 2023.  “We are thrilled that our school’s excellence in delivering a high-quality and engaging learning experience was recognized and supported by the Ministry”, says Superintendent Dave Eberwein.  “We look forward to working with the Ministry over the next year to finalize the provincial agreement to continue the delivery of an outstanding educational experience for BC students.”
