What is a StrongStart Centre?

StrongStart Programs provide opportunities for early learning through play in an environment carefully designed to support exploration and discovery. Qualified Early Childhood Educators lead a variety of activities designed to support children on their learning path before they enter school.

StrongStart is a free program for 0-5 (pre-Kindergarten), with their parents/grandparents/caregivers to attend. Parents and Caregivers are expected to be actively involved and engaged with their child during the StrongStart visit, so that there is optimum child development and sharing learning. StrongStart supports the development of young children consistent with the goals of the British Columbia Early Learning Framework.

StrongStart Information

All families are required to register, and sign in for each visit.   Please fill out the registration form HERE and bring along with a photocopy and the original of your child's passport, birth certificate, or status card on your first visit.

StrongStart opens Wednesday September14. Centres operate as per below.

Please note: StrongStart Programs follow the school calendar and will be closed on the same day as the schools.
