Accessibility in Saanich Schools

Saanich Equitable Access Team (‘SEAT’)

Our District & Accessibility

The Saanich Equitable Access Team (SEAT) is a working group comprised of parents, teachers, support staff, district staff, and community members from within the Saanich Learning Community. This group is focused on ensuring students, staff, and community members with diverse disabilities have a voice in identifying, preventing, and removing barriers that may be present in our district learning environments, and workplaces.

Our district is dedicated to inclusion, accessibility, and equity for staff, students and all those interacting with the district. It is the sum of US that help to create the engaging learning environments within our learning community and we are committed to improving the experiences of people with diverse disabilities.

SEAT will regularly review feedback provided by students, staff and the community, and support the district in reviewing, and updating our Accessibility Plan.
