Carly Hunter

Carly Hunter began her career in Saanich Schools in 1998 as a teacher at Stelly’s Secondary. At Stelly’s, she taught a variety of subjects including BC First Nations 12, English, Social Studies and Leadership.  She also worked in Saanich as a district student advocate and a middle school Vice Principal and Principal.  Carly has been in her current role as Director of Instruction: Learning and Innovation since August  of 2018.  She is passionate about educational change, collaboration and  supporting innovative practices.  Carly is proud to work, live and raise her family on the Saanich Peninsula on the territory of the W̱SÁNEĆ people.
