Dave Eberwein

Dave has been with Saanich Schools since 2017 when he was appointed as Superintendent.  He began his education career teaching night school which led to his first contract as a high school science and chemistry teacher.  He has had a number of administrative roles including Vice-principal, Principal, Director of Instruction, Assistant Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent.  He is passionate about public education and the importance of our system being better tomorrow than we are today, sharing his thoughts on learning and leadership on his blog The Power of Why. In his spare time, you can find him in his workshop or hiking the local trails with his dog.
