The Saanich Board of Education adopted their 2022-2027 Strategic Plan on March 16, 2022.  Through a year-long process of development, the Board’s new Strategic Plan was built by examining thousands of pieces of evidence, looking at student success and consulting extensively with students, staff, parents/guardians, the W̱SÁNEĆ First Nation and the broader community.

The Board’s governance mandate is to promote and improve student achievement.  In these challenging times, the Plan will serve not only as our critical roadmap but also install confidence in our communities that Saanich Schools are staying and indeed accelerating the course in our pursuit of student success.

The Plan’s four themes of Literacy, Indigenous Learner Success, Mental Health & Wellness and Global Citizenship now provide a five-year blueprint for how we will focus our energies and available resources to make Saanich Schools even better tomorrow than they are today.

The Strategic Plan has been created to be accessible, inviting and memorable with concise text and stunning visuals.  We hope that you will take some time to review it, as it will be the driver for many of our conversations, decisions and actions in the years to come.  You can find a digital copy of it on our website.
