Dear Claremont Parents /Guardians,

Claremont has been without electrical power this morning due to a major power line from the street being damaged. At this time the school is without internet capability and has intermittent power. To repair the damage, BC Hydro requires the entire school to be without power for several hours.  As such, Claremont Secondary will be closed this afternoon for all students. School buses will be running at noon to provide bus transportation for students who normally ride the bus.  Students with special needs who ride the bus are being contacted by the school.

We apologize for this unforeseen inconvenience but appreciate your understanding as we work to have the school returned to full operations. We anticipate the school to be open as usual tomorrow morning.
