Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and upselling opportunities.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math for payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and service stations.
• Assist with food preparation as needed while adhering to food safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience.

Skills

• Previous restaurant experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of the food industry.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards.
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately at the register or during cash handling tasks.
• Experience in serving food and beverages with attention to detail in presentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$30.00 per hour
