Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and other food items while ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires a focus on food safety, sanitation, and timely service to create a positive dining experience for our customers.

Duties

• Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to company recipes and customer specifications
• Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
• Manage food preparation stations, ensuring cleanliness and proper sanitation standards are maintained
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions about ingredients or dietary options
• Ensure timely service during peak hours by managing multiple orders simultaneously
• Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures consistently

Skills

• Experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environment preferred
• Proficiency with POS systems, including Micros POS, for efficient cashiering
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders quickly and accurately
• Excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance sales opportunities
• Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is a plus
• Good communication skills to interact professionally with team members and customers

Pay: $17.85-$24.50 per hour
