Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and a strong understanding of food and beverage service. This role involves taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring guests have a memorable visit. Prior restaurant experience and knowledge of food safety standards are highly valued to maintain high-quality service standards.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems or order pads
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in during meals and addressing any needs or concerns
- Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling and safety procedures
- Assist with setting up tables, cleaning, and resetting dining areas as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area in compliance with health regulations
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, but not required
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to serve efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with serving or barista duties is a plus, especially within hospitality settings
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- A positive attitude with a genuine interest in providing outstanding guest experiences
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.85-$31.45 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
