Job Title: Dishwasher
Job Type: Part time, Full time
Job Summary: The Dishwasher reports to the Executive Chef and Sous Chef. As a Dishwasher, you are responsible for the cleaning and organization of all kitchen and dish equipment. Sort recycling and compost. Help to load and unload vehicles. You are a valued member of the culinary team and have no problem maintaining a high level of organization and strong work ethic to ensure the team has all equipment cleaned and ready for food preparation and service.
Overview of Responsibilities:
· Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dish equipment and working environment
· Upkeep dish and silverware
· Working in a fast-paced environment that is clean, tidy, and safe
· Working as part of a team to create a memorable guest experience while delivering consistent, quality service
· Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· 1 year of dishwashing experience (preferred)
· Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
· Knowledge of food safety and hygiene
· Ability to stay physically active throughout the shift (may be required to lift up to 25kg).
· The ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills
· A strong work ethic and team player mentality
· Food Safe certification
Hours of Work: 20-40 hours a week. Open availability and flexibility is preferred during peak operating periods. On rare occasions these shifts can be evenings. We try pour best to commit to 2 days off in a row.
Work Location: In person at Truffles Catering.
Pay: Starting from $19 per hour
