We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team to support kids summer camps. These interactive camps guide children through a variety of activities like arts and crafts, yoga, dance, creative writing/reading, nature adventure and more. We are currently looking for assistant instructors to help facilitate the camp activities in a collaborative, fun and engaging atmosphere. Outline of Assistant Instructor position:

• Works collaboratively with Day Camp Leaders
• Delivery of safe, engaging and fun activities
• Assists with preparation & execution of planned activities
• Check in and out of kids & youth attending
• Post Secondary degree is not required
• Criminal record check required
• Communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and parents
• Knowledge assisting or leading recreational programs for school age children

Leadership abilities, including role model behaviours, along with the ability to demonstrate sound judgement while creating a positive, enthusiastic, safe and fun program environment.

Paid training & development time will be scheduled in June. Camps run 9am – 3pm Monday – Friday during July and August. Compensation $22/hour. Paid setup and cleanup time in addition to camp hours 30 minutes before and after start of camp.
