Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences, excellent food and beverage knowledge, and strong communication skills. This role involves delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring customer satisfaction through attentive service and efficient order management. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such Square. The Server will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while maintaining food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of menu items when needed
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like square, ensuring timely entry and communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining proper presentation and temperature standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are adhered to during food handling, serving, and cleaning procedures
• Assist with setting up tables, refilling supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Address guest inquiries promptly and courteously, resolving any issues to ensure satisfaction
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently while maintaining quality service
• Follow all restaurant policies related to sanitation, health regulations, and safety protocols

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Familiarity with POS systems such as square pos is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and basic math for cashiering and billing purposes
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience is a plus
• Prior hospitality or food industry experience is beneficial but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude toward learning.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$18.00 per hour
