Volunteers needed for the removal of Spurge Laurel.

Where: 5575 West Saanich Rd | Unitarian Universalist Community of Victoria

Spurge Laurel is an invasive evergreen shrub with glossy green leaves and black berries. It is toxic to humans and animals. Removal is accomplished by uprooting or cutting below the root collar to prevent resprouting. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is recommended (work boots or shoes with socks, long pants; long-sleeved shirts, gloves, masks, protective eyewear).
