Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper / Dishwasher to support our culinary team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure food safety standards are upheld. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the food industry and develop foundational skills in kitchen operations.

Duties

• Assist with meal preparation and food handling under the supervision of chefs and kitchen staff
• Support food service operations by setting up workstations and organizing ingredients
• Help with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to meet food safety standards
• Prepare basic ingredients such as chopping vegetables or assembling simple dishes
• Ensure proper storage of food items and maintain inventory organization
• Assist in serving food to customers when needed, ensuring timely and courteous service
• Follow all health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment for staff and customers

Requirements

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various kitchen tasks
• Previous kitchen experience or background in the food industry is a plus but not mandatory

Pay: From $17.85 per hour
