Deli Clerk- This person must be a team player and support the deli team to operate a successful department.
The successful candidate must be able to have these qualities:
- Must be able to perform the various duties such as cooking, serving, packaging meals and other deli items, and operating counters.
- Ensure that products are properly labeled with prices and dates.
- Monitor and maintain stock inventory levels to avoid over and under stock problems.
- Interact politely with clients while solving problems related to sales, dissatisfied service and issues regarding store operation.
- Operate all food preparation machines, equipment and tools such as knives.
- Merchandising and cleaning the retail and warehouse floor.
- Ensure that facility is maintained neat, clean and safe.
- Strong work ethics - go getter - get things done.
- Very organized & quick thinker.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Follow all company and government policies and regulations.
