Join our Civil Engineering Technology Program Information Session to explore how you can build a rewarding career designing and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our communities roads, water systems, buildings, and public works. During this session, you'll have a chance to meet with the program Chair and learn about the Camosun College Civil Engineering Technology Diploma program, including how it combines classroom learning with practical, project-based experience to prepare students for real-world engineering environments. The program emphasizes hands-on learning, sustainability, teamwork, and the technical skills needed to succeed in today's infrastructure and construction industries.
You'll also discover the educational and career pathways available after completing the program. Graduates can pursue roles such as civil engineering technologist, construction project coordinator, environmental technician, or survey technician in consulting firms, government agencies, and construction companies. The program also offers opportunities for co-op work experience and further education pathways, including bridge programs to engineering degrees at universities like UBC or UVic.
